27 H problems
John - yes, just give the wicks for the int. valves a good squirt of
oil each time you take it out for any kind of a long drive as it says
in owners manual.
As to problem #2: I'd also check the needle & seat in your vacuum
tank, assuming you're using it. If you're using an elec. fuel pump,
that is the reason as the needle & seat in the old updraft carb.
can't hold the pressure that an elec. pump puts out. If you're using
the vac. tank & it's in good condition & gas puking out the carb.,
then float level or needle & seat not in good condition or set right.
Carter printed little books for their carbs. that give all the
settings as to heigth of float, etc., but hard to find.
