Stuck valve? or trash? and who overhauled the tank? I have managed

to keep a Vacuum tank running with minor interruptions for a while

now but just keep putting bandaids on it. I have a spare and I think

it would be a good idea to get it "rejuvenated", so I would like your

    recommendation if you have one.

It turned out there was NOTHING wrong with the vacuum tank other than my

trying to fill it in the wrong spot. Once fuel was introduced through the

inlet fuel line fitting, the darn thing swallowed an amazing amount of gas

and supplied it to the carbie with no drama at all. Jack Smith in Manitoba

Canada did the tank as part of the engine package deal. That snappy EA Mile

Away horn was restored five years ago and has been sitting in a box waiting f

or the rest of the car ever since.

Another pic of the motor running is attached, this time taken from the

off side. The red jump lead used to supply juice to the ignition system while

the dashboard electric switch is out for new handles can be seen to the rear

    of the motor.
