Geoff is correct, the plug is loose.
Re the hinge pin...Soak that puppy for a few days in penetrating oil..NOT
WD40. I use Kroil but any GOOD penetrant should help. Also open and close
the door as you soak it to help get the stuff in.
Be careful when swingin a hammer! you can loosen the hinge screws up and
damage wood quite easily. I will often use many lite taps from a small
hammer in hopes that the vibration will help the penatrant do its job, and
afer a few days of this come back with a BMF Hammer (no translation
needed, everyone has one of these somewhere) and give it one or two real
solid hits. If this does not work to budge it then its time to declare
war.
