Couple of questions! At the Auburn meet there was some discussion about
stainless steel valves not expanding the same as regular valves when
hot, and they should be adjusted accordingly. One comment was to adjust
between 12 and 14 thou. (sounds like to much to me!) Any comments would
be appreciated. Also, in the service manual for the 17 it
recommends that the large plugs in the top of the block be removed for
summer driving,(for better circulation). What would be your
recommendation?
