"Clincher" Rims

Guys, I claim ignorance about exactly what the difference/s between

split rims (as I have on my '28) and "clincher" rims (as Coker seems

to sell in 20 inch size) is/are. Since I am seeking replacements, I

am wondering if the new ones that Coker offers are useable on my

car...
