Last weekend I installed one of the Waltham clocks that Hudson sold in

the twenties as an accessory item. I bought it on ebay some time ago and had

the local clock repair man give it an overhaul with a new mainspring. It

seems to work pretty well now.

I drilled a couple of holes first, somewhat smaller than the screw size.

I had previously marked the drill with a red marker at the proper depth so

that the drill didn't bore right through the header board.

It's installed and the finish on the clock matches the rest of the

fittings on the dash; not too shiny!
