Gasket Advice

Now that I've acquired that carburettor and pulled it apart, I see

that there are several gaskets made of a very, very thin paper. It

seems to me that I could probably use a modern proprietary gasket

replacement preparation rather than try to cut new gaskets. Am I on

the right track?
