I notice that the very nice Super Six clock closed at $256., the highest

price I have ever heard of for such a clock. I didn't even have the little

winddown telltale that many of them do!

As bad as that sounds, I paid $125. for a sometimey example and then my

clock repairman charged $165. (!) to install a new mainspring and otherwise

fettle it. That ebay job may just have been a bargain after all.
