to the fender. However, to minimise damage to the paint I have fitted
a fabric spacer, made out of belting. I had an old conveyer belt which
I peeled a layer off. This is a sort of rubberised canvas, and is
ideal for the job. Sort of like tyre (tire?) sidewall fabric.
