Ooodles Of All Cal Meet Pics Uploaded
In case you missed it, the All California Meet at San Simeon, CA was
weekend was a big hit. I think somebody mentioned that something in the order
of 30-35 cars showed up and the Saturday night dinner was sold out with some
80 folks in attendance.
I brought the '26 Coupe along for it's first meet with the new motor and
it ran and performed well. Jeff & Heidi Gould ('28 Hudson project) rode in
the rumble seat of the Coupe enroute to Hearst Castle. I had the mirror
turned so that whatever might have been happening back there was not visible.
Heidi is quite a vamp and poor Jeff has the same weaknesses any man has . . .
Last night, the CIC Board voted to host the meet next year and the work
was spread out amongst the eager throng of volunteers. Yours truly coughed at
the wrong time and wound up in charge of the tour portion. Actually, I was
mouthing off about the only thing lacking this year being a proper tour. All
of you other complainers consider yourself warned.
I had my mouth in gear a lot more than my shutter finger at the meet so
the pictures tend to have a rather narrow focus. Please add the standard
apologies here.
We had an excellent turnout of Hudson Super Sixes owners and cars. Three
cars turned up and perhaps 10-12 folks with projects at home. Alas, some are
not online yet and cannot participate with us here.
