Two wheel brakes
Come on y'all, all this chatter about two wheel brakes! To listen to
the talk, they are only slighty better than dragging your feet. I've
had a couple of cars equipped with them. They aren't bad if you
remember what you are using and how much weight you have behind you.
All you have to do is plan your stops and keep your eyes ahead of
you. Mine need tightening up here and there, but they still bring me
to a stop. If you think about how much tire(tyre) tread touches the
road surface on these old cars, even 4 wheel brakes aren't much.
Scooting is scooting, two or four wheel. Slide behind the wheel and
use the brakes. Practice, practice, practice. Zeke
