These wheels are a son-of-a-gun to sort out. #5 Wheels are the larger hub
size used
on large cars of the Teens and Twenties. They were made by various
manufacturers
Houk, Hayes, American etc. They all have slight differences in them but
essentially
will fit. The number 4 hubs are slightly smaller and were made for
lighter cars.
The reason the 72 spoke #5 wheels are tough to find is the fact they were
on the
bigger cars including the Expensive ones. Also these wheels when left out
in the
elements with tires on them had a tendancy to rust out the rim. Gary
