You are right about not suiting other models. The Hudso and Biddle &

Smart bodies have a completely different mechanism, so it looks like a

Briggs exclusive. Glad you have been able to get this machined, as

when I took it to the foundry he said it wouldn't work out very well

because of shrinkage in the process.
