600 weight gear oil
Rgd. message 584: I have been using 600 weight steam cyl. oil in
the transmission and differential as reccomended in my owners manual.
I have used this product for over 25 years with good results.
I bought it in 5 gallon containers right at the main distributors
warehouse in Seattle (Mobil) about 10 years ago. At that time it was
only about $18. They probably still have it although I'm sure that it
will cost more. That is still a lot cheaper that in the ads I have
seen it for in Hemmings for model A's and etc. (in much smaller
containers) I forgot to mention that this is used in a 1918 Super six.
