27-28 Step Boards for sale on eBay

is a nice pair of brass step boards (step plates), described as being

for a 1927-28 Hudson. The boards measure about 9 x 11 inches, made of

brass. They are a series of slats, curved upward (downward) on one edge.

A Hudson Super Six triangle is in the center.



Not having seen these previously, I'm unclear how they fit in with a

conventional running board, if at all. Or were they only for two-seater

models where they would be used in lieu of a running board?
