Hi Guys
Having overcome my lack of vacuum tank for a fuel supply by cobbling
together a regulated fuel pump I now have the car running ok. I now need to
remedy a few other items. I wish to get the lights working and cannot get
the bezel of the headlamp. Is there a method which I have missed before I
get heavy handed ?
Secondly I have a 'death wobble ' on the fromt end if I hit the wrong sort
of bump and the only way to get control is to stop completely.
This car spent some time in Canada and some of the work done on it appears
to have been 'substandard' or at best misunderstood. Is there some geometry
settings out there for King Pin inclination which may solve my problem?
The ignition sounds very retarded even when full advanced even though it
appears set 'to the book'
The advance lever appears to have something missing out of the end of it
which would afford it some resistance as it falles staright to retard when
running if not held up!
I have no crank handle, are these available or is it time to make one?
The motor will not start on 6 volt due to lazy cranking and sod all volts
left at the coil but on 12v starts instantly. Generator output is 6.8 volts
at 1000 rpm
Finally availability of tyres and tubes 35x5 will import from US if needs
be..???????
Still hunting for a vacuum unit, found a tank but no 'gubbins' inside it
and the top casting is wrecked
Cheers
Martyn
