More questions
Hi guys, ignition timing is getting there but few more questions. On the
advance mechanism after the guandrant gear there is an amplifier /
reductuction arm which fitted one way will increase relative travel and the
other way reduce it. Does the rod from the quandrant go on the longer or the
shorter leg of this coupling?
I have precious little movement at the rotor arm in the dizzy for the total
travel on the streering, how many degrees should I be able to get in the
dizzy. There is also considerable slack in the dizzy which whilst I know
will be taken up upon running may be exaccerbating the problem further. Is
there a way of lessenning this , what feels like gear slap?
If I move the rod up and down at the dizzy I get a lot more travel but
cannot see where any undo slack is in the system.
Still gagging for a vacuum tank if anyone sees or has one. I am over in new
jersey working near Wharton for a few days in May and would love to get one
whilst I'm there, any one able to advise me of any prep work I could do b4
getting there to help my search as I will be working long hours and will
have little spare time.
