Good question. The gauge is inop on my '29 and it would be nice to find a

replacement. My guess is that you are going to have to make the rounds of the

old Ford parts store and look for something you can make work. I have had

good luck with the ReNu process for gas tanks. While expensive, your gas tank

problems will be gone for good.
