A general good showing for Hudson's as usual, 6 Hudson's and Essex's
total

 

As for our race in the 28 Hudson Roadster, you know the distributor drive
coupler that floats, well the bronze keeper that holds the coupler on, the
pin wallowed out and the key gave way, twice. Unfortunately we DNF'ed
(Did Not Finish ) on 3 days, so we were out of competition,
to return another day. We did make it to 20 miles outside of Williams Arizona,
rode in on the trailer, saw the Grand Canyon, ate at the Route 66 Diner . .

Ps. I do need a new Distributor Drive shaft and Bronze keeper
(Not the right terminology, but you know which parts I'm talking about), if
someone has an extra. B-
