Live Roaring Twenties Music

I have been a big devotee of music from the early days for many years and

find that it compliments our olde cars perfectly. There are many ways to

enjoy it, starting with tapes and CDs and ultimately even the old windup

record players with the original 78 rpm records. I have several of these

windup machines and several piles of records to enjoy. Our own Neil Makin

works on these machines and can assist if any of you might like to get

involved this way.

Probably the best way to get a taste of the hot jazz and popular music

our cars were born to is to listen to Joe Monte's "Hot Aire" on KCSN 88.5

from 2:00 to 4:00 Pacific Coast Time on Sunday afternoons. This is a college

station and cannot be heard more than a very short distance through your

radio. Fortunately for most of us, you can hear Joe's music on your computer!

I am listening to it now as I try to catch up on email and thought others

might be interested as well. To listen in, go to the KCSN website at:

http://www.kcsn.org/

and click the Listen Live button. If you need to download software the

website will direct you to the proper place. Apples free "itunes" did the

trick for me. Joe is playing some very hot stuff for us just now!
