Theres a hole in my radiator!

Hey; I was out cleaning and polishing today and noticed something.

Just behind the Essex emblem at the top/front of my radiator there is

a hole. It is made there for some purpose, but I can't understand

what for. I'm just curious and if anyone knows the purpose of this

feature, let me know. John
