New toy
Perry Spring added a very rare piece to his collection on Sunday, the 20th of
October. It is a 1927 Hudson Murphy bodied Collapsible Sedan. It has an
aluminum body, cowl, firewall and hood, with steel fenders, and splash
aprons. It also features side mounted spare tires, which I don't think were
available on the regular production cars. There is a picture of it in the
Butler book on page 109, in the top left corner. It even has the Carl Zeiss
headlamps and cowl lights... Could this be the very car in the photo?
