1916 Hudson

Good Day to you all: My wife and I have a 1916 Hudson Touring,

purchased in about 1965. Was a veteren of many tours in the northern

California Area and has been in our garage for 17 years due to a

broken front, 10 spoke wheel and a clutch problem. We also have 2

parts cars that are in the 1920's. One was "cut down" and used as a

poormans jeep to fight fires in the area of Berry Creek, CA., the

other is whats left of a 2 door sedan ( like an opera coupe ) that

was purchases in the Gridley, Ca. area many years ago. We joined the

H.E.T. Club many years ago and found no members with common interest

around the 1916 years or the GREAT SUPER SIX, most members were in

the 1930 and 1940s era and we droped out. We have been watching,

with a great deal of interest, your postings about the Super Six and

solving of very comon problems found in the years from 1916 to 1928.

We are glad to read about your work in the process of keepin the

Super Six alive, and look forward to reading your post. Avin and

Lorayne Hill
