Thanks Bill, this is a terrific resource. The chips look quite dark,
which is how they look in person. I would love to know if the colors have
darkened over the years. The color ads show bright vibrant colors for the
Hudsons of 1929, something that is not evident in the chips.
Just for laughs, I looked up Hudson Standard Blue, a very bright, very
blue color to see how it looked on the screen. Sure enough, it WAS very dark
on the chip. I guess the next step would be to find a website that would take
the paint mixes and render a color on screen based on the components rather
than a scanned vintage chip.
