Essex Wheels
Stu Kreiger, the mechanic who has been working on my '29 Town Sedan,
has a pair of Essex wheels, rims and tires in his shop that he would
sell for any reasonable offer. These are 20-inch rims with 5x30 tires
mounted. The wheels have 12 wooden spokes, and the hub is the smaller
size (e.g. mid-20s, I would guess) and says Essex Motor Co.
Does anyone know what vintage these wheelsets are? Does anyone need
them? Neither Stu nor I have an idea what they are worth, so any
guidance in that area would be helpful as well.
