leaking/inaccurate water temp gauge
My '29 Town Sedan has a small but persistent water leak around the
point where the water temperature sensor comes out of the engine block
-- right around the "wire" of the temp, not in the threaded fitting.
The temp gauge also reads quite low, about 130 even when the engine is
fully warmed up.
Can this simply be disassembled, repacked (say, with the graphite cord
that plumbers use) and reassembled to stop the leak? How can I fix the
inaccurate temp reading?
