Ford Radiator Cap for Hudsons?

I believe you are quite right about the Model A Fuel cap being vented but
otherwise the same as the radiator cap. Indeed, new Model A owners are asked
to check to see that the proper caps are on if the cars dribbles to a stop.
As for fitting Hudsons, I'd be surprised if they did. I dragged the '26
radiator over to Vintage Ford in Stanton, Ca some years ago and tried the
caps right off the shelf. No soap, they weren't even close. At the time, I
was hoping to use a Model A cap with a Motometer on top. Just to make sure I
didn't dream all of this up in a drunken fantasy, I'll give them a call and
ask if they know the ID of the caps. More later!
