Closest we have ever come is living next to the railway line in our
previous location. Alas, now we live in a village 80 miles away from
the nearest railway. We have a small heritage museum with a 1/4 mile of
track, one derelict 2-6-4T steamer, and one working Hunslett diesel. Oh
well, at least I have my Hudson collection for consolation. Let's hear
about your Essex as it progresses Brian,
Geoff.
