1928 Essex distributor
Looks like I could get the engine block first, maybe in a couple of
weeks. One of the first things I need is a complete distributor.
Reference material I have says its a Auto-lite IGB 4014. Is there
any company that sells rebuilt or NOS replacements? I can handle all
the engine machine work that needs to be done myself, [I'm used to
28" pistons & rings] its the add-ons that I have no conection to
suppliers. A friend said that he thought that some of the Packards
in the late 20's might have the same parts. Is there any other car
that
might have the same distributor on it that maybe easier to find? Any
help would be appreciated!
