****There is no standard air cleaner. originally there was a hot air

stove surrounding the exhaust manifold, with a curved pipe going up into

it, and couple of doors which opened to allow cold air in. A small

accessory air filter will do the job okay, but make sure you don't

restrict the airflow too much or economy will be affected. The Stewart

carby is a very reliable unit, but neds as much air as it can get.

***Sounds like the flange off the universal dust cover has come loose.

Do you have the resistraiton papers yet? It should show the previous
