Fuel line pressure reducer needed
I seem to have a problem with the fuel pressure reducer that I have
installed in my '29 Town Sedan to bring the pressure from the electric
pump down to 1 lb or less. Periodically -- twice yesterday in a one
hour drive -- it just shut off entirely, and the car, not surprisingly,
would not run.
How do I know this is the problem? Well, when I turned the dial to
adjust the pressure reducer, I could hear a hisssss of air and then gas
flowing into the carburetor.
I need a replacement pressure reducer. I have no idea where to find
one. A search on Google comes up empty -- only devices available are
mkuch higher pressure rating, for use in racing cars.
Can anyone help?
