Steering box bushings for 29 Hudson?

My mechanic has gone through and tightened up everything on the

steering system, and removed a lot of the play, but not all of it.

What's needed to finish the job is a replacement bushing (bushings?)

for the steering box. Does anyone know of a source for these, or will

I need to get them machined?



The car is drivable now, but the steering begins to feel a little

loosy-goosy at 50 mph or so. How am I ever going to win the Indy 500

if I can't get this fixed?
