29 running board trim
Does anyone know a source for the "correct" aluminum molding for
running board trim on the '29 Super Six? I have to replace the molding
on one of my two running boards, and that means replacing both, for
symmetry of look.
The only source I know of for running board trim is Restoration Supply
Co. in Reno, NV, which offers several trim moldings in brass (one with
a ribbed top, another with oval top that looks closest to original) and
a third with flat top. They also have a ribbed molding made of German
Silver that looks like it would be gorgeous, but it is listed as
"currently unavailable."
