on my car is a heavy staircase edge moulding, in alloy, which has a
small curved fold-over on top, and a curved outer edge. It is very
sturdy, and polishes up well with brass polish. I can send a pic of it
if you like. Of course, Murphy's law being what it is, it is probably
not available your side of the pond!
