1916 Hudson For Sale - Whats it worth ?

Hi,



I am a brand new member for what I'll admit upfront is a a selfish

reason. My Dad purchased and restored a 1916 Hudson in the 1960's.

As kids, we went to some parades in and around NH in the "OOGA OGGA"

( what we kids thought the horn sounded like ). In the early

seventies, Dad no longer had the time to mantain and "tour".

The "OOGA OOGA" has been stored in a barn for the last 30 years.

It's condition is obviously not getting any better and it's time for

a new home. The car was complete and professionally restored 40

years ago and somehow I'd like to figure out what it is worth and

sell it for my father. Some more general comments / questions.



1) There is original literature with the car. Is it worth more with

the car or separately ?



2) The condition of the exterior and interior of the car is probably

somewhere between poor and fair.



3) Engine / drive train - it used to work, now ???



4) What kind of research can I do to figure out a fair value ? Does

anybody have any opinions on what they think it is worth ?
