Detroit-Lubricator problem on 25 Hudson
I recently purchased a 1925 Hudson that has not been started in over
10 years. We finally got it started after checking and cleaning
everything out everything out. I can not get the engine to run above
idle. I removed and soaked thecarburator and reassembled. The
butterfly is opening and closing but it runs as if the throttle is
not working.I let the car run for one hour and I still have the same
problem. Also I need to remove and clean the oil pan and to replace
float on oil sight gauge. Does it use any kind of cork and if so, do
I need to treat the cork with a sealer. Any help would be
appreciated!!!!!
