door handle
In my search for the parts I need for the restoration of my 28 coupe,
I found a locking door handle, which I need. It appears that the
door was locked before car was laid to rest out in the "back 40", and
it has siezed in this postion, I have tried gingerly to get the
handle off with lots of penetrating oil but no luck. Does anybody
have any great ideas on how to get it out? The handle is loose in the
door, and I can almost get it out, but the notch in the door skin,
under the plate is just a litle bit to small for the steel pin thats
sticking out of the locking barrel. The fellow who has it wont sell
me just the door, and I really dont need another car body in the back
yard. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Brian Manning
