254 Exhaust manifold

Has any one had any experience haveing the exhaust manifold coated, such as Jet Hot or ceramic. if so, does it help with dissipating heat? Since no one is producing headers for the 254, I'm hoping this process will help. What does the 254 fans think?

    Heat? I've been running one for 2 yrs in a 52 Hornet (Hornadore) and haven't had any problems with heat. Make sure you have a heat-shield under the carb with the bent wing on the manifold side.

    I have a friend that had his exhaust manifold and head pipe powdercoated

    with silver metalic ceramic. It looks great and seems to run cooler in the engine compartment but seems to push a lot more heat under the passenger compartment This may be a problem in warmer climates?
