29H Power.
I need to increase my hill climbing power to use my 29H at a wedding reception for
my son. The compression is good, but I don't remember the exact numbers. The polarity
was changed by someone else and it has a one wire 6 volt alternator that works well. I
am wondering if the change in polartiy some how threw off the distributor. I have dead
headed the timing and it cranks and runs well until it comes to a hill. the carb is fed by an
electric fuel pump and I have switched out carbs to check the carb. I have not checked
the vacuum readings. New heavy duty battery cables from the tractor store, I added. Any
suggestions on increasing hill climbing power would be appreciated. I have learned a lot
from this group. Thanks, Harold Hudson
