If it is a piece of software that I'm missing, then for those of you

who can open photos posted here, can you please tell me what

software you have on your computer that probably allows this to

happen. I only have a word processor and scanner programme on mine.





     On the Mac, all of these features are integrated into the operating system. We just double click on an icon and the Mac finds a program that will deal with it's contents. In the case where there are more than one option, it asks which you would prefer and then remembers the preference. Doesn't windows do something like that? My experience with Windows is limited to checking my websites for windows functionality, but I'm sure there are some real PC savvy listees that can get this solved for the folks that are having trouble.

     If you like, I can put you in touch with a fellow I know that built my PC. Perhaps he will be able to determine what more you need. I've got to think that this has to have a simple solution - after all they sell these to grandma to view pics of the grandkids.
