Cruise Speeds

I have no problem with the '29 Town Sedan at 50 - 55 mph with occasional bursts up to 60. That car has the low gearset. I once rode in Perry Spring's '29 Coupe on the fwy and he did an easy 55 mph. The Coupes came with the higher gear set. My poor '26 Coupe is geared so low that it is all done by 45. Indeed, I start it in second gear. I expect that this must be a special gearset as the book lists the same ratio as the '29s had. The bottom line? The Super Sixes will run!
