29s at the Petersen

The display of the 1929 Hudson models in now open at the Petersen museum. This past Saturday, I went with out-of-town relatives to see the display. The cars look great in the showroom, and it is something like the way it must have been back in 1929.

I did find a fly in the ornament, however. The window and interior graphics are Hudson graphics from the Stepdown era in the 1940s. That really spoiled the mood for me. I am going to contact the folks at the Petersen about this, but considering the guidance they already received from me prior to the display, I fear that they might not care, a very strange position for a museum to take.

Would this bother anyone else? I took some pictures but left the camera in a spot where I will not be able to retrieve it until next week. I'll have pics up then.
