Delays.

Hi all, just letting you know that I have had a
call from the plating shop, and he has had to replace one of his tanks, which
has delayed the completion of the castings being plated.  I can only but
apologise for the long delay in sending these castings out, but it has been
beyond my control.  Hopefully within a couple of weeks(?).   I'll
keep you all posted. I have the unplated '29 vent levers ready to send, but most
of you wanted other items as well, so have not posted these
seperately.   Apologies again, but just letting you know I haven't
forgotten, or skipped the planet!  The delays are largely due to the
foundry and plating shop both fitting these smaller jobs in between production
runs. They don't really like doing these jobs. Last time I was in the plater
they were doing several hundred bathroom rails. These are their "bread and
butter" and they fit our work in between, which sometimes means it sits on the
shelf for some time. I don't know of any way to hurry the process, as there is
only one plating shop in town, and I don't want to get offside with
them.
