Hofhudson, From the description you give, I think you looked at the wrong 1925. The green four door had the original engine. There is also a black two door on e-bay with a strange flat head six (Dodge or Studebaker?) in it. The green four door did look good though. As for your brake question, Hudson went to four wheel brakes in 1927 and four wheel brakes that actually worked in 1929. Jeff
