1920 ESSEX "Pikes Peak" Special

Hello SX Group,



The book "The Cars That Hudson Built by John A.

Conde", page192 shows the 1920 ESSEX racer called the

Pike's Peak Special. In the 25 years that I have had

this book, I have never seen another photograph of the

same car, or read any other reports or stories of the

car.



Has anybody else seen anything?



Is this the same car in which Glen Shulz, of Colorado

Springs, won the free-for-all 1923 Pike's Peak climb?
