Does anyone know what the compression pressure
readings for a 1924 Hudson should be? The numbers I
got were from 65 to 73 pounds which seems high for
this engine.
I am working on a friends 1924 Coach and the starter
has a difficult time turning the engine over. The
battery is new 750 amp, new cables, tried 2 different
starter motors ( made sure they were properly
grounded), and wired in a Ford 6V relay in place of
the Hudson contact set up and no improvement.
Presently, the car has to be towed to get started. Any
ideas?
