Bob, The intent of the original suggestion to Rick was that the advantage of having the car in the air during installation would make it easier to get under it to tighten bolts (I myself do not seem to be as thin as I once was) and to store the car on stands after the tires are installed to keep the weight from flat spotting the new tires during long term storage. Hope this longer explanation makes more sense. Jeff
