Starter Switch
Hello. I have been working on my 1929 Hudson Sedan this fall. I
went to start it yesterday and the engine will not turn over. It
appears to have a problem with the starter switch, which is located
under the starter. If I push the starter rod side to side, it will
make contact. How does the rod make contact with the positive lead
and the starter lead? I can see a brass ring on the rod. Can it be
replaced?
Thanks for your help,
Rick
