Yes that is correct. Kerosene you buy these days is lighting kerosene, and

has no lubricant in it. The nearest you can get to the old fashioned power

kerosene is Jet fuel. I get four gallons of this every now and again from my

son who has a mate who checks all the local turbine powered aircraft, and

it's great stuff. Has a completely different smell from lighting kerosene.

I can even run it in my Essex at a 30% dilution with ordinary gasoline.

However, there is really no need to mix up your own clutch fluid, as has

been noted, Auto transmission fluid is far superior.
