Rear End Seals
I am rebuilding the rear end of my 29 Hudson. I replaced all the felt
seals with real (CR) seals, but one thing seems strange to me. The
front bearing rollers (Item 35) and rear bearing rollers (Item 36) are
lubed by a grease fitting, what keeps oil out of this area?
(Note- the reference Item #'s are from Page 8 in the Hudson manual)
I don't see any seal between the rear end oil and the grease in this
area. Am I missing something?
